There is something truly special about the way our community shows up for one another. As a local real estate agent, I don’t just see houses; I see the heart of the neighborhoods that make Raymore and Belton feel like home. Today, I’m thrilled to highlight an organization that embodies that spirit: Eagles Community Outreach.
The wait is finally over! Eagles Community Outreach has officially opened the doors to its beautiful new home in the WillowWind Square shopping center.
A New Chapter for a Vital Mission
Located at 1296 B. West Foxwood Drive, this new space isn’t just a change of scenery—it’s an expansion of hope for Cass County families. For years, Eagles Community Outreach has been a lifeline for working families and single parents who are doing their best to make ends meet but often find themselves caught in “the gap”—earning too much for government assistance but not enough to cover necessity.
Serving with Dignity
One of the things I admire most about Eagles Community Outreach is their commitment to “Serving Families with Dignity.” Their new location continues to offer a “boutique-style” shopping experience where families can browse for:
-
Clothing & Accessories: From everyday essentials to their “Dress for Success” program, providing professional attire for job interviews.
-
The Food Pantry: Offering non-perishable goods and frozen meats to help bridge the gap until the next paycheck.
-
Hygiene & Baby Essentials: Diapers, wipes, formula, and personal care items that are often overlooked by other programs.
-
The Birthday Room: Ensuring every child (age 12 and under) feels celebrated with a birthday package including toys, cake mix, and party favors.
Why This Matters for Raymore
When a community organization grows, the whole town benefits. Seeing the revitalization of WillowWind Square with such a purposeful tenant is a testament to Raymore’s growth. Whether you are looking to buy a home here or are already a long-time resident, knowing we have neighbors like Jack and Crystal Benson and their dedicated team of volunteers makes our town feel a little more like a family.
How You Can Get Involved
Eagles Community Outreach is 100% volunteer-run and relies on the generosity of our community. Here is how you can help:
1. Donate: They accept clothing in excellent condition, food, and hygiene products during their open hours (Mon–Thurs, 10 am – 2 pm).
2. Volunteer: They are always looking for friendly faces to help steam clothes or assist shoppers.
3. Financial Support: As a 501(c)(3), your tax-deductible donations go directly toward purchasing meat and essentials for local families.
Location: 1296 B. West Foxwood Drive, Raymore, MO 64083
Hours: Monday – Thursday | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Our community is stronger when we support the organizations that keep us together. Next time you’re near WillowWind Square, stop by and welcome Eagles Community Outreach to their new home!
